One of the key features of the C30 is a bio-ethanol powered heater, which will make up one of the car's three climate systems - one to supply heating and cooling to passengers, one to heat or cool the battery as necessary and one to water-cool the electric motor and power electronics. This bio-ethanol heating system will keep drivers comfortable in cold weather while maintaining the long-lasting driving range of the battery.
